The Museum is very popular among citizens. The number of exhibits in it has about 700 units. In the exposition of the regional history can be traced. Visitors will find in it answers to existing questions about life in Bokhtar in former times and in modern conditions. A distinctive feature of the Museum is recognized as the diorama “Tepai Kurgan” and “Rasta particular”. The upper part is occupied by a picture showing the Vakhsh valley in the past.
