Bokhtar Tour

Until 2018, Bokhtar was called Kurghan-Tyube, which can be translated from Tajik as “grave hill”. This city is located in a large oasis from the first centuries of our era, when it was part of the powerful Kushon kingdom. Even then, it was a fairly large settlement, minting its own coin. The inhabitants of these places were famous as skilled shooters and livestock breeders.
