Timur Dara
Lake Timur-Dara, an alpine lake of flood origin, is located an hour from the Karatag River, at an altitude of 1980 m above sea level. There is no fish in the lake. The path leading to the lake starts from a small river of the same name Timur-Dara, which flows out of the lake and flows into the Qaratogh river. The lake itself is located among the wooded slopes. The water in it is bright blue. One of the coasts is covered with coarse granite sand and can serve as an excellent beach.
According to myths, the conqueror Tamerlan was resting on this sandy shore after his campaigns.
