Tiger beam (Tajik. Beshai palangon is a nature reserve in Tajikistan, located at the confluence of the vakhsh and panj rivers. The territory of the reserve with an area of about 50 thousand hectares extends from the Panj river in the South and the Kashka Kum desert to the Khoja-Kozian ridge. Received the status of the reserve in 1938. Administrative subordination-dzhilikulsky district of Khatlon region, Republic of Tajikistan.
The tugai forests of Tiger beam occupy a significant territory relatively little affected by anthropogenic impact. The reserve preserves rare and especially valuable species of animals typical for tugai — Bukhara deer. There was a Turanian tiger, which became extinct in the middle of the XX century.
