Alaudin lakes (Chapdara), lying at an altitude of 2800 m, are considered one of the most beautiful lakes of the fan mountains. These lakes belong to the Pasrud river system.

When viewed from a height, mountain lakes are always blue. Their color is borrowed from the sky. But the color of the Alaudin lakes is born in a dispute with the sky wins. Sixteen and a half meters deep, and not a grain of sand suspended in the water. Five-kilometer underground stone filter reliably protects the purity of the lake. Can not muddy its underwater keys, beating under the southern shore, and violently falling into the lake noisy stream, escaped from under the colossal stone plume Chapdary, crystal clear. The trail runs along the Western shore of the Great Alaudin lake. Here, in the southwest corner, there is a green lawn where it is convenient to put tents. On the other side of the lake, a Peninsula juts into the lake like a stone curved hook. From a Large lake comes a river, further dividing. One branch flows into the Middle lake, and the other disappears into the piles of moraine, then boiling ribbons to break out of the green slope below the Lower lake.

From Alaudin lakes climbers begin their ascents to the peaks of chapdar (5050 m), castle (5070 m), Energiya (5120 m), Chimtarga (5489 m), etc.Above the Big Alaudin lake is another small ancient moraine, overgrown with forest.
