Alaudin lakes (Chapdara), lying at an altitude of 2800 m, are considered one of the most beautiful lakes of the fan mountains. These lakes belong to the Pasrud river system.
When viewed from a height, mountain lakes are always blue. Their color is borrowed from the sky. But the color of the Alaudin lakes is born in a dispute with the sky wins. From Alaudin lakes climbers begin their ascents to the peaks of chapdar (5050 m), castle (5070 m), Energiya (5120 m), Chimtarga (5489 m), etc.Above the Big Alaudin lake is another small ancient moraine, overgrown with forest.
