The mausoleum of Khoja Mashad is built within the village of Saed, belonging to the vicinity of Bokhtar. It conquers with monumental dimensions and virtuosity of the executed brickwork. This is the only building in the Central Asian part, in the construction of which wood was used. The surrounding area has been a point of attraction for Wanderers for centuries. It was called Cabodian. Khoja Mashad was a real person. He was widely known among those who professed the Islamic faith. Khoja was a native of the Middle East and belonged to the category of the rich. It is believed that he invested his own funds in the construction of madrassas. After the death of Mashad laid to rest in the area Kabodian. He actively preached Islam. From existing legends it is known about the construction of the mausoleum for a single night. It was considered a miracle granted by Allah. The monument consists of 2 buildings. They are located separately and connected only by a passage. On closer inspection, both structures appear identical. In fact, they are built in different time periods. The appearance of the Eastern building belongs to the IX—X centuries, and the Western-to the XI-XII centuries.
