Vrang village is an amazing and unique place in the whole Pamir, where a cult Buddhist complex of IV-VII centuries, consisting of a three-stage stone climb, towering over a courtyard surrounded by a high wall with towers, was excavated above the village, on a high cliff. Near the stupa on the steep slope of the mountain can be seen dug caves-grottoes in which the monks lived. Scientists suggest that here was located one of the centers of Buddhism, Tibetan sense.
